ROSALIE + JAKE (A GLAM WINTER WEDDING AT THE LUMBER EXCHANGE EVENT CENTER IN MINNEAPOLIS)

Rosalie’s childhood dreams came true when it snowed the weekend of her wedding. And when I say snowed, I mean SNOWED. I woke up the morning of the wedding with about two feet of snow on the ground! Rosalie and Jake’s elegant winter wedding took place at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the historic Lumber Exchange Event Center in downtown Minneapolis. The flowers were crafted by the insanely talented Marla Heffron and Rosalie was a completely stunner holding them in her lace Enzoani dress and faux fur coat. Some other highlights: the bridesmaids wore velvet Désir Vale dresses in the most beautiful jewel tones, Tom Hanks’s 2nd grade photo as their guest book (it was that photo that first got Rosalie and Jake talking on Tinder), and Jake’s fishing tackle style boutonnière! This wedding is a beaut and the people in these photos are some seriously good people. I’m so blessed to have such incredible clients like Rosalie and Jake. JILL + JASON (A MODERN, FALL WEDDING AT THE HUTTON HOUSE IN MINNEAPOLIS)

Jill and Jason’s October wedding took place on a beautiful blue sky day in Minneapolis. It always does my heart so good to wake up the day of a wedding and see such bright light beaming through my window. We took full advantage of it by taking photos downtown on the Stone Arch Bridge downtown and in Father Hennepin Bluff Park. Both the ceremony and reception took place at The Hutton House and Artemisia Studios created a beautiful floral backdrop above the fireplace. Kismet Events coordinated a lovely indoor and outdoor affair for guests. Some favorite details: Jill’s bridesmaids in blue dresses with stunning red shawls, the beautiful wooden reception tables and chairs, and a cardboard cutout of Justin Timberlake crashing the dance floor! Jill and Jason are the sort of people you wish were your friends and I’m lucky to call them friends now after shooting their wedding. I truly loved capturing their big day. Big thanks to my girl Julia Mary for assisting me again!

Jason’s last name is LaCroix and I adored how they leaned into the sparkling water joke for the wedding!
