Happy St. Patrick’s Day! It felt like the perfect day to debut this wedding. Maggie’s red hair and green color scheme are giving me all the St. Paddy’s vibes. I’m still in love with how classy and sophisticated this wedding at The Calhoun Beach Club is. It’s no secret this is a favorite wedding venue of mine, mainly because it’s proximity to my favorite lake in South Minneapolis. Some of my other favorite things about the venue: it’s abundant natural light and private outdoor deck space for cocktail hour. What more could you want as a photographer! The Calhoun Beach Club also recently renovated it’s bridal suite and I’m obsessed with the colorful sofas! Maggie and George’s wedding was full with beautiful touches and glamorous details. While my favorite detail has to be their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy, the runner up would be Maggie’s lightly blush pink Romona Keveza gown from Kleinfelds! It was so unique and the perfect shade for her fair skin. There’s just so much to love at this sparkly, ballroom wedding. Enjoy the photos!

I’m so excited to finally blog this wedding! Meng and Ryan’s wedding at Paikka in St. Paul was an absolute floral dream! Lilia Flower Boutique truly knocked it out of the park and created a stunning floral arch that was front and center during the outdoor ceremony as well as inside behind the sweetheart table. This wedding solidified to me why Paikka is one of my favorite venues in the Twin Cities. It’s positioned southwest for the perfect sunset light and has some really unique industrial backdrops (those hummingbird doors!) that pair so well with the greenery that the venue provides. Speaking of favorites, the fabulous team at Maven Events was crucial in making the venue live up to its utmost potential. And as if all the above wasn’t enough of a reason for me to love this wedding, Meng made a special note to get photos with her cats before the ceremony! There’s just so much to love here and I hope you enjoy looking at the photos from this beautiful, summertime wedding day.
