Courtney and Woodrow’s wedding will always hold a very special place in my heart. Their October wedding celebration took place on the same weekend that Stefan and I moved from Minneapolis to the PNW. While I will still continue to fly back to Minneapolis often for work, it was the weekend of our official move and sort of like my sending off party from the Twin Cities. And, boy, when the Bluewater Kings is the soundtrack to your going away party, it’s not a bad night! Courtney and Woody’s wedding took place at the Riverside Room at Minneapolis Event Centers. After the ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes, the wedding party embarked on an epic bar hop to Courtney and Woody’s favorite dive bars while Kastina & Co. created a stunning reception space for the guests at the Riverside. Personal highlights: Courtney and Woody’s emotional first-look, A Day in Provence on the florals, and Courtney’s incredible shoes! This whole day was such a highlight from my 2019 wedding season and I feel so incredibly lucky to have had the chance to photograph it. Jill and Jason’s October wedding took place on a beautiful blue sky day in Minneapolis. It always does my heart so good to wake up the day of a wedding and see such bright light beaming through my window. We took full advantage of it by taking photos downtown on the Stone Arch Bridge downtown and in Father Hennepin Bluff Park. Both the ceremony and reception took place at The Hutton House and Artemisia Studios created a beautiful floral backdrop above the fireplace. Kismet Events coordinated a lovely indoor and outdoor affair for guests. Some favorite details: Jill’s bridesmaids in blue dresses with stunning red shawls, the beautiful wooden reception tables and chairs, and a cardboard cutout of Justin Timberlake crashing the dance floor! Jill and Jason are the sort of people you wish were your friends and I’m lucky to call them friends now after shooting their wedding. I truly loved capturing their big day.
