Tears shed. Vows tested. Wedding rings a little more worn in. It's official: anniversary sessions are my new favorite thing. I had the pleasure of photographing these two before their wedding in 2014. I moved to Minneapolis shortly after and didn't get a chance to see them in person until this anniversary session in D.C. Hearing all that they've been up to, the good and the hard, made every photo I took mean that much more. Love is so powerful.
