pure light

After dropping Kristen off from our shoot at Christ and Culture week I pulled a BrittK and went nature exploring with my camera. :) I've always loved the entrance to the Snyder's neighborhood so I put on my happy hazard lights and wandered around for 15 minutes or so. Here are the results to one of my favorite Matt Redman songs.

O, to see You as You are
To glimpse the wonders yet unseen
Assist my sight, unveil my eyes
To see You

Lord, to know You as You are
To even dare to speak or stand
Though marked beloved, to fall as dead
When I see You

How great the glory of Your name
How small the voice I humbly bring
Yet with my all I raise a song
When I see You

It is the song of love's pure light
The grace reflected in these eyes
The overflow of those who know
They have seen You

And through grace untold, to see You
With this heart unveiled, to know You
Lord, in Your pure light

The moment you've waited for...

Soooo, what was the beeping?
Christmas day Mikey opened the gift aaaand....

it waaaas...

a whistle key finder? what about a "while your talking or stretching or living" key finder? because that's about how much it beeped. No whistle necessary.

Anyways, meanwhile...

I received this guy's album from Dollar Ocean. Score! My brother got it for me! Buccaneer, baby! So anyways, Christmas night I had a special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer party :) It went splendidly.

(Danny sporting his new cell phone. Well, mostly new. Either way, it can take pictures and text and whatever like the rest of the real world. Sheesh finally.)

And then today. The day after Christmas - or more commonly known as Mr. Crumbly's birthday. :)

Isn't he just so huggable? Gosh, I love him. :) Anyways, today was beautiful just for him. Take a look at this sunset. Woooow.

Just think, God makes all these sunsets. He decides how each of them is going to look and which colors to mix together and how they're going to glow and fade. They all came from HIS head. I can't wait to meet my God!!!
